Avril Lavigne,27-year-old singer from Cannda, known for her love of Goth promote her mall-punk look to the next level. Avril Lavigne shew off a half-shaved head in Paris on June 9. Several days later, Charlize Theron was reported shaving her head for her Mad Max 4. Has this become a trend?
Deciding that it was time to revamp her image the 27 year old Canadian singer opted to shave one side of her head leaving Avril with a punk rock style that actually suits her quite well.
She kept the color and length (for the most part) the same; it’s Avril Lavigne’s partially shaved side that’s the big shocker.
Dressed in a black leather jacket and striped T-shirt, the new hair cut and permanent scowl attached to her face, just emanated angst. Along with her new hair cut, Avril Lavigne also debuted a new makeup routine, foregoing her signature raccoon-like eyeliner for a subtle, smoky eye. So punk!
She once said: ‘I have to fight to keep my image really me…. I rejected some gorgeous publicity shots because they just didn’t look like me. I won’t wear skanky clothes that show my booty, my belly or my boobs. I have a great body.’
Lavigne, who has a clothing label and a line of nail polish strips,recently said she’d like to launch a hair color collection. Perhaps we’ll see her sporting some crazy hair hues next
