Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge likes recycle outfits just like us commoner. We like her so much. She’s not afraid to shop at Zara frequently, nor is she afraid to wear her purchases over and over again. She often uses different hats, shoes, accessories, handbags to match a new outfit by the same dress. That’s a good point we can learn from her.
Anyway, we were inspired by this latest outfit repeat to try to figure out how many times she’s recycled outfits.
The Duchess of Cambridge took this versatile navy blazer and gave it the professional lady treatment, wearing it over a shift dress back in June 2011 to kick off her 9-day Canadian tour. Then she went casual in some skinny jeans and her LK Bennett summer wedges (remember those? We miss them!) a week later, also in Canada. That’s just smart packing.
We first saw this rather drab plain coat back in March of this year–livened up with flowers–when she wore it to a tea at Fortnum & Mason in London. Here it is again this week, when Kate attended a Diamond Jubilee event, in all its monochrome glory.
Kate Middleton did a double repeat for this one, wearing the coat over a Jenny Packham dress that she’d previously debuted during her North American tour (and which we loved!) We first saw the Katherine Hooker coat in June 2011 at an Order of the Garter service.
LK Bennett Nude Heels Kate’s Often Wear:
How much she like nude color? But it’s quite perfect for matching surely.
Diane Von Furstenberg Maja Dress
Green is this lady’s color–she needs to wear it more often. Well, she already wore it twice, first last summer when she graced our fair shores for her first-ever visit to California, then again a few weeks later on a royal party yacht before Zara Phillips’ wedding. Not exactly what we would wear to a booze cruise, but she’s royalty.
Kate Middleton gives the outfit new life and recycles them naturally. I love all Kate Middleton’s outfit and hats. What about you? Which dress of Kate is your favorite?
