Sheer dress is not strange or unacceptable theses days at all. Jennifer Lopez’s nude sheer dress has sparkled us several days ago. Yesterday, Katy Perry perfomed at the 2012 Much Music Video Awards at MuchMusic HQ on June 17, 2012 in Toronto, Canada.
The singer started the performance draped in pupa-esque cloth before discarding it to reveal a nude body suit underneath. Shortly after a huge pair of colorful wings unfolded behind her to complete the metamorphosis.
Katy provided a little insight into the inspiration for the performance by tweeting on Saturday, “Tomorrow’s MMVA performance is inspired by Crazy Town’s ‘Butterfly’ & the 80′s film ‘Cocoon’ #metamorphosis.
In a colourful display, the singer could be seen practicing her vocals on a huge platform.
Singing her latest hit Wide Awake, the live performance had Perry standing in the middle of the MMVAs stage and singing away. Ever so slowly the entertainer rose from the stage and morphed into a butterfly right before the fans. The beautiful wings came out as she ended her song with the fans going wild in delight as it reflected on lyrics of the single.
So amazing!
The MMVAs had the audience of the award show involved with the performances by not just watching, but also engaging online and talking about the performances.
