The PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) bashes Mary Kate and Ashley Olse for their new expensive fur bag. The sisters are called Trollsens Twins.
Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen recently won the Council of Fashion Designers of America’s top honors, making them 2012′s Womenswear Designers of the Year.
Stylist/designer Rachel Zoehas already annointed the twins’ $17,000 patchwork fur backpack “next season’s staple” on her website, The Zoe Report.
Here’s what PETA wrote about the pricy fur backpack: “If it looks like a troll and acts like a troll, it’s probably a Trollsen Twin — or someone wearing one of their new $17,000 totes, which are made from the fur and skins of innocent animals. What the Olsens lack in creativity, they try to make up for in shock value. Sadly, it’s the foxes, calves and alligators — who often have the fur ripped off them while they are still conscious and able to feel pain — who pay the dearest price.”
Do you love this Fur bag or do you disagree with what they have done? I seriesly don’t love the twins since I know their actions. Though they have won the price 2012’s Womenswear Designers of the year, they mean nothing to me.
