Many designers splashed their dresses this season with strokes of color than ever. Besides white, they use more colors, such as smoldering reds, heavenly blues , white and black wedding dress. ”You don’t have to wear a white dress anymore,” says Brides Fashion Director Rachel Leonard, “but it still has to look like a wedding dress. The trick is to find a color that’s flattering to your skin tone, and not everyone looks great in white.”

I love that look.”

Wedding gowns with a dose of haute style using both structured and softly draped shapes was injected this season. “Peplums were huge,” Leonard says. “It’s fascinating how that really picked up this season. It’s a high-fashion look that’s sexy and graphic.”

Duchess Kate’s royal wedding gown proved its influence after almost every collection this season showed some variation on lace. ”There’s something about lace that pushes back on the technology-driven society we live it,” Leonard notes. “It’s soft. It’s romantic. It takes us away.”

Kim Kardashian married to basketball player Kris Humphries in Montecito, California Saturday night night at 6:30pm in a 30 minute fairytale ceremony, and she wore a generous Vera Wang custom-designed wedding dress on her wedding ceremony. The official ceremony were watched by their families, friends and estimated 440 celebrity guests that included Vera Wang, Brody Jenner, Ryan Seacrest, Lindsay Lohan, Eva Longoria, Venus and Serena Williams, Avril Lavigne and Demi Lovato and the list goes on.

Now, let’s see more details about Kim Kardashian’s wedding dress. The dress is an ivory strapless Vera Wang gown with full tulle skirt, basque waist and hand-pieced Chantilly lace applique on the bodice and train. She also wore her hair up and away from her face. Her veil included a jeweled headpiece with diamonds that dripped on to Kim’s forehead, and remained off her face for the walk down the aisle with step father Bruce Jenner. The wedding gown was like a real almost dress rehearsal and Kim Kardashian looked absolutely beautiful.

Kim Kardashian didn’t flaunt just one dress during her fairytale wedding, she had a total of three (only the ceremony gown is pictured). The second was a Georgette mermaid-style dress with lace on the bodice and a skirt with hand-cut organza petals and organza sprig embroidery.The third was a bias-cut crepe back satin gown with a circle skirt and V-neck. Her wore Guiseppe Zanotti shoes, and her friend Lorraine Schwartz designed her stunning engagement ring.

The news released show that Kim Kardashian will have Vera Wang to design her wedding dresses. And Kim Kardashian has already met with the designer Vera Wang! Kim shopped for choosing her dream wedding gown at Vera Wang’s NYC Madison Avenue boutique on Monday. The bride-to-be was accompanied by her sister, Kourtney.

An insider of Vera Wang’s store said: Kim Kardashian is going to have at least two wedding gowns, possibly three custom made Vera Wang wedding dresses.

The picture shows that Kardashians wore a very sexy animal print ensemble for the big shopping occasion. And Vera Wang must really like Kim Kardashians too because today is also her birthday!

Kim Kardashian even met with Vera Wang herself. But it’s unclear whether Kim Kardashian actually decided on her perfect wedding dress, her sister Khloe is rooting for her to go with Vera Wang. Kim said, Just because I love her, and I feel like when you think of weddings, you think of Vera Wang. I think it would be a perfect fit.

Vera Wang also designed the wedding dresses of stars like Mariah Carey, Victoria Beckham and Sarah Michelle Gellar.
